I tried it.
I last ate at about 8pm last night and had nothing until probably 10:30 this morning. I decided to try a fat fast, just to try it.
I ate butter and some low protein soft cheese. I got through 695 calories. By the time I got home around 7:45pm I felt like utter and total shit. I can go 3 days without eating without batting an eyelash. But this. This was weird. I came home, ate quarter of a chicken (dark meat) and some summer sausage and cheese slices. I feel immensely better.
So fat fasting: Never again. Maybe if you’ve gone 2 weeks without dropping into ketosis, maybe then.
